I fell in love with Wyoming in the summer of 2014. From the moment I arrived in Sheridan, something took hold. The vibrant downtown, the vastness of the prairie, the quiet mystery of the Bighorn Mountains. This place had a way of making the world feel both wide open and exactly right-sized.

Nate and I married in 2015 and have been building a life we love here ever since. Our family has grown to include two kids who proudly tell everyone they meet on our travels that they’re from Wyoming. We didn’t end up here by accident.  We chose this place. And we choose it every day.

In 2020, we made the leap to two full-time small businesses run out of our home. It wasn’t the easy path, but it was ours. That decision was rooted in the same values that drew me to Wyoming in the first place: freedom, hard work, and the belief that a life built around what matters most is worth tending carefully. For us, that means time with our family, room for adventure, and a genuine stake in the community we call home.

I came to Wyoming with a simple dream: mountain mornings, a life free from big city noise, and the chance to put down real roots. What I didn’t expect was how deeply Wyoming would shape me, its code of honesty, its fierce independence, its quiet expectation that you show up and do your part.

I’m not running because I want to change Wyoming. I’m running because Wyoming changed me, and I want to help care for what it’s given us.

Every consultation at Whirly Girl Flowers starts the same way, someone shares a vision, and I get to work figuring out how to honor it with the resources available. Sometimes the budget matches the dream. Often it doesn’t. And that’s where the real work begins, setting priorities, making hard choices, and finding creative solutions that still deliver something real and meaningful.

That’s good practice for public service.

Wyoming’s state budget doesn’t always match Wyoming’s needs. Priorities have to be set and hard choices have to be made. The people of District 29 deserve a representative who knows how to listen, assess what’s available, and make practical decisions without losing sight of what matters most to the families she serves.

I don’t come to the table with a fixed agenda. I come prepared to problem-solve.
